Mairi Beautyman -- Interior Design, 2/26/2007 12:00:00 AM

From March 10-12, AmericasMart in Atlanta, Georgia will be home to the nation’s largest single collection of premium linens and home textiles, according to show organizers, for the debut of the International Fine Linen & Home Textiles Market.

Held concurrently with the Atlanta Spring Gift, Home Furnishings & Holiday Market, the new market will include both temporary and permanent showrooms (floors nine and 10 of the Home Accents & Fine Linens Center). Attendees will be privy to a total of 200 temporary exhibitors and 100 permanent showrooms. Items include soft goods, home textiles and furnishings, personal care products and accessories.

Special events include a presentation by designer Jonathan Adler, “Jonathan Adler: Happy Chic Design,” Saturday, March 10 from 2-3pm in AmericasMart One, first floor meeting rooms. Adler will discuss his design approach and then sign copies of his new book, My Prescription for Anti-Depressive Living, in the 10th floor Temporary Exhibit Hall, Buyers’ Lounge, AmericasMart One. Complimentary champagne and desserts will be served.

Adler is principal of interior design firm Jonathan Adler Happy Home and currently lead judge of Bravo TV’s Top Design.
