INSPIREDESIGN™, a World-Class Design Show, to Debut at World Market Center Las Vegas in February 2010

World Market Center Las Vegas has announced the launch of INSPIREDESIGN^™, an exclusive design show that will focus on the latest interior and architectural design solutions for the hospitality, senior living and healthcare marketplace. The show will be held at World Market Center Las Vegas, February 1-3, 2010.

World-class designer, D.B. Kim will set the stage for the attitude, look and feel of INSPIREDESIGN. Kim, an award-winning designer and conceptual and constructive practitioner, has been credited with bringing personality and recognition to top hotel brands by challenging the world of hospitality to meet the evolving needs of the modern business traveler. His work on behalf of W, Westin, Starwood Vacation Ownership for Westin and Sheraton has earned him worldwide respect and acclaim.

INSPIREDESIGN^™ is poised to set a new standard for showcasing design in North America and will bring together designers, purchasers, owners, and suppliers for major hospitality and healthcare projects. The show will be held in the sculptural exhibition pavilions located on the expansive 57 acre World Market Center campus, which includes more than 5 million square feet of elegant showroom space, state-of-the-art conference rooms and luxurious and spacious common areas with easy access to the many world class Las Vegas resorts.

The Show Director for INSPIREDESIGN^™ is Gerry Seibel, who since 2007 has served as Director of Leasing for Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center Las Vegas. Prior to joining WMCLV in 2007, Seibel was affiliated with some of the leading gift and design centers in the country, including the L.A. Mart and The Merchandise Mart in Chicago.

An additional element associated with the show will be an Excellence in Design competition, which will be sponsored by Interior Design magazine. Details on the competition will become available in early Fall 2009.
