IIDA New England Seeks Design Entries

Winners will be feted June 23 at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts.

Once again, the New England chapter of the International Interior Design Association is accepting entries to its prestigious IIDA New England Design Awards program. Entries must be received by 5:00 p.m., Monday, March 30. Winners of the third annual program will be feted June 23 at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

The 2009 program categories are:

  • Office (under 20,000 SF)

  • Office (20,000- 50,000 SF)

  • Office (50,000-80,000 SF)

  • Office (over 80,000 SF)

  • Healthcare, Educational

  • Hospitality/Retail (combined category)

  • Residential--Multi Unit, Residential--Private

  • Research/Lab (new this year)

hotel indigo boston photoTo qualify, at least one of the designers involved with the project must be a current member of IIDA (Professional, Associate, or with membership pending). In addition, projects must be head up by New England firms and completed and occupied on or after January 1, 2006.

A $300 non-refundable fee is required for the first entry, and a $200 non-refundable fee for each additional entry. Firms may submit an unlimited amount of entries. Entry forms are available online (PDF).
