Crossing the Rio Grande

The splendor of Mexico City is revisited in "The Grandeur of Viceregal Mexico: Treasures from the Museo Franz Meyer" at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. The exhibition highlights paintings, sculpture, furniture, and earthenware made from 1521 to 1821 and reveals a confluence of cultures within Mexican art.
