Placentero chair

Cienporcientodiseño -- Interior Design, 5/23/2005 12:00:00 AM

Young Argentine designer Batti's oversize white-fiberglass Placentero chair owes heavy debt to Arne Jacobsen—and weighs in at nearly 100 pounds. The seat's leather comes in eight colors, including green and red. Another hefty piece is Mario Celi's Mesa Trunca table, each a one-of-a-kind. Cedar or pine slabs are set atop a frame of chromed steel or anodized aluminum; heights range from 14 inches to 25 inches. Avenida Luis Maria Campos 1001 3A (1426) Capital Federal, Buenos Aires, Argentina; 005411-4777-4382; cienporciento.net.
