The fall season of cutting-edge design kicks off from October 4th through 7th at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. Here is a preview of featured products.

b9 furniture, launched in November 2000, have had a wildly successful first year. With young American designer Critz Campbell at the helm, they have introduced playful, creative, and intelligent new designs to great acclaim. They are the creators of the whimsical Sprout, a clever stacking shelving system formed of durable ABS plastic and Wilsonart laminate. Available in a variety of colors, it is accented with cast-aluminum legs and spun-aluminum pulls. The center locks in four CD-sized drawers that work perfectly as bookends. Cappellini: The award winning chaise Outline, designed by Jean Marie Massaud, stands out with its red fiberglass seat and appropriately placed scoop. Living Divani: The Bloom chair, the creation of Giorgio Cazzaniga, exudes personality. A steel base supports a moulded frame in birchwood multilayer, polished with natural waxes. Brown Jordan: Designed by Richard Frinier, the Nxt luxury leisure collection includes an armchair, lounge chair, and ottoman.
