As always for Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile, chandeliers dazzle at the Swarovski Crystal Palace exhibition. This year's collection of 19 contributing firms and individuals included Interior Design Hall of Fame sister act Gisue and Mojgan Hariri; Diller Scofidio + Renfro; furniture powerhouse Patricia Urquiola; and Westin Hotels & Resorts Worldwide vice president of design D.B. Kim.

In designing Unity, Kim relied on his hospitality-industry knowledge about making luxury accessible. His modular pendants can be used singly or, for a splurge, in infinite combinations.
