Lampa's Eco-Policy Statement

Lampa is completely committed to environmentally safe design and production. All Lampa veneer is composed of renewable sources. We are proud to announce our entire line of wood veneer lighting is completely sustainable. We now offer bamboo, birch, wenge, zebrawood, cherry, maple, and bolivar. All species are grown with sustainability as a primary goal.

In addition to our standard line, we currently are featuring three new veneer species in fourteen different colors that are certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council. Products marked with an FSC certificate contain wood that comes from well managed forests, according to strict environmental, social and economic standards. FSC guarantees not only that materials come from managed forests, but also that each step of their production is monitored and traceable.

From log sourcing to the sale, through transportation, storage, veneer cutting, clipping, dyeing and handling, it is possible to determine that a particular panel was made using a genuine veneer which is guaranteed to be from an environmentally friendly origin.

The Lampa Think Green Initiative includes:

  • Compact fluorescent compatible fixtures over our entire product line

  • Green packing materials for all products shipped

  • Sustainable woods and Forest Stewardship Council certified veneers used exclusively over our entire product line

  • Environmentally-safe metal processing and coatings

  • Product take-back policy for recycling fixtures with 100% recyclability across our entire product line

  • A Comprehensive energy plan along with reclaimed architectural elements used throughout our design studio
