Pot Luck

Deborah Wilk and Edie Cohen -- Interior Design, 1/1/2010 12:00:00 AM

For those who can't keep their minds away from the kitchen—even while in the bathroom—Rapsel offers Chef. Marco Merendi's three whimsical bathroom sinks, made of aluminum powder-coated in yellow, orange, and blue, resemble nothing so much as brimming soup pots. Rather than sitting over a flame, however, the vessels are supported by either an oak platform, cantilevered from the wall, or an oak-topped pedestal in the same shape. Optional steel handles can be used to hang towels or face cloths. A mirror, a soap dish, a drinking glass, and a toiletries container round out the collection. 39-02-335-5981; rapsel.it/fullpage.html. circle 436
