DCOTA Sunshine

edited by Sheila Kim -- Interior Design, 2/1/2003 12:00:00 AM

The Design Center of the Americas in Dania Beach, Florida, toasts fabric's tropical side at the Caribbean-themed Fabric Fair 2003. Attendees can preview British-colonial styles and beach-influenced patterns, envisioned as breezy kites, canopies, and cabanas by local designers and students. On February 26, a VIP reception and fashion show hosted by Interior Design editor in chief Cindy Allen is featuring custom creations made with fabric lines from Donghia, F. Schumacher & Co., Beacon Hill, and other DCOTA showrooms. Proceeds from an auction of select fashions will benefit Camilla's House in Miami. Through February 26; 954-920-7997; dcota.com.
