standout Concentric circles were specially designed for their light-filtering effects.

Who knew that a walk in the woods could be so illuminating? Strolling through a grove in Peru, Federico Otero was captivated by the interplay of light and shadow created by layered foliage. The first LED fixture produced by this company, queenly, glamorous La Reina is constructed from laser-cut, electro-polished stainless steel that’s powder-coated white inside for added reflectivity. Both sizes, 23½ and 36 inches tall, can be suspended from an individual satin-nickel canopy or custom-clustered with a larger one. 415-778-4300; boydlighting.com. circle 421
