When carpet containing Solutia's Ultron nylon fiber appears in a contract interior, the designer doing the specifying can qualify for the company's Doc Competition. This year's winners are Don Dethlefs of Sink Combs Dethlefs, for the firm's own office; Lauren Rottet of DMJM Rottet, for QAD; David Robinson of David Robinson Design, for Poseidon restaurant; and Daniel Huntsman of Huntsman Architectural Group, for Redwood Trust. For outstanding carpet designs using Ultron fiber, Solutia also honored Bentley Prince Street, Constantine Commercial, Fortune Contract, and Invision Carpet Systems.
