A Texas family featured on ABC reality show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (EMHE) Sunday received a glamorous home office, courtesy of Allsteel. The furniture manufacturer donated Align Workstations and #19 seating to the DeAeth family, who run an animal rescue organization out of their home.
Through True Blue Animal Rescue, Dale and Melanie DeAeth provide a safe haven to four-legged creatures in need. In between raising three children and maintaining full-time jobs, they had 30 dogs, 15 horses, and several cats on their property at the time of the renovation. The EMHE design team and Allsteel helped the family furnish the home office that serves their rescue service.
Allsteel went the extra step to fill special order fabrics and custom materials for the project in just four days. “Everyone in our organization – from the Dallas Resource Center to our manufacturing facility in Muscatine, Iowa--was inspired by the DeAeth family story and we were willing to do whatever it took to make sure they had a beautiful office to come home to,” explains Julie Zielinski, vice president of marketing for Allsteel.
In the office, two translucent Pantone color-matched Align workstations coordinate with the True Blue Animal Rescue logo, which is painted on the office floor.
“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding, airs on Sundays (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) on the ABC Television Network.
