edited by Sheila Kim -- Interior Design, 10/1/2002 12:00:00 AM

A celebration of individuals who have influenced contemporary American culture through their design and architecture, the 10th annual Chrysler Design Awards will be presented to six industry leaders next month: Apple Computer CEO Steve Jobs, vanguard retailer Murray Moss, architect Phyllis Lambert, former U.S. Senator and public-space advocate Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Walker Art Center curator Mildred Friedman, and New York University interactive-telecommunications program director Red Burns. NBC correspondent John Hockenberry will present the awards at a gala at the Four Seasons restaurant in New York on November 12.
