Many Moore

Jen Renzi -- Interior Design, 4/1/2001 12:00:00 AM

British sculptor Henry Moore was an influential and prolific figure, with more public works installed throughout the U.S. and Europe than any other artist. This spring, the Dallas Museum of Art pays tribute to his oeuvre with a long-overdue retrospective, on view through May 27th. Henry Moore, Sculpting the 20th Century sheds light on the artist's many collaborations with architects, tracing his career—from early figurative works to his experiments with Surrealism—through a survey of more than 200 bronzes, carvings, maquettes, plasters, and drawings.

The DMA, located at 1717 North Arwood. Call (214) 922-1200 for information.
