You may have been wowed by the Buckminster Fuller geodesic dome installed in the Mart's South Lobby. Now experience the exhibition "Buckminster Fuller: Starting with the Universe" at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago. The show features a selection of photographs and drawings of his inventions, many of which are works of art themselves. Adding historical and biographical perspective, the exhibition also includes personal photographs of Fuller with his works. While at the MCA, drop by the intimate exhibition "Alexander Calder in Focus." The small but significant show presents five of his sculptures, which range from the figurative to the abstract. The Fuller exhibit runs through June 21, while Calder remains on view until July 5. 312-280-2660; mcachicago.org.
