Here's this week's roundup of who’s doing what, where in the design community.

Hillier Architecture has several new projects in the works. The architecture firm will design an R&D center for LG Electronics in South Korea, and execute a 670,000-square-foot interior fit-out for the Sanofi-aventis Group’s new U.S. headquarters in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Hiller has also been commissioned to design New York City's largest commercial bioscience center. The East River Science Park will be an 870,000-square-foot mixed-use campus on a 4.5 acre site. In Philadelphia, Hillier is renovating the Rittenhouse Regency, a 17-story brick building built in 1927 as the Philadelphia Athletic Club. In August, Hillier was awarded the $350 million replacement hospital for the University Medical Center at Princeton, in a joint venture with architecture firm Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum. Hillier also has several University projects in the works. The firm will restore Yale University's gymnasium and largest historic building and renovate and design a new addition for Chapin Hall at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. For Pennsylvania State University, Hillier will design the University Health and Counseling Services Building. In San Juan, Puerto Rico, the firm is designing a new 180,000-square-foot Molecular Science Complex for the University of Puerto Rico.
Rich Morrow has been appointed executive creative director for Designtex, a design and product development firm. He will lead commercial product design and manage the design studio.
Architecture and design firm Goettsch Partners is designing a new state-of-the-art broadcast center for WBBM-TV/CBS 2 Chicago as part of a major new development at 108 North State Street. Groundbreaking ceremonies for the new development took place November 15.
Russell Perry joins the Washington, D.C. office of SmithGroup, an international architecture, engineering, interiors and planning firm. Perry is one of the founding partners of sustainable design firm William McDonough + Partners.
David Callan is now vice president at consulting, engineering, technology and construction firm Syska Hennessy Group. In his new position, Mr. Callan will serve as director of sustainable design and high performance building technology.
Architecture, interior design, and planning services firm KKE Architects has added 29 new employees to its offices in Minneapolis, Las Vegas, and Irvine and Pasadena, California.
Suzanne Adams is now director of sustainable design firm DIRTT (Doing It Right This Time) sales at Lane Office, the furniture dealer which distributes Knoll and DIRTT products.
Eurico R. Francisco joins the healthcare sector of design firm RTKL Associates, as a principal and lead designer in the firm’s Dallas office.
Cliff Brown has been appointed vice president of Plynyl Sales for textile manufacturer Chilewich.
