The only gallery on Bard College's campus in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, used to be a 9,500-square-foot space in the Center for Curatorial Studies. The new Hessel Museum of Art, designed by Goettsch Partners, is nearly double the size. Red, White, and Blue-Ribbon

Projects such as this Colorado house, built in 1989, have made Ettore Sottsass the lifetime-achievement winner for the second annual Benjamin Moore Hue Awards, which recognize outstanding use of color in architecture and interiors.
