The Inscape Corporation is setting its sites on future with a new competition that tasks designers with conceiving storage solutions for the workplaces of tomorrow.

The 120-year-old North American workplace furnishings manufacturer is launching the contest, it's first-ever and the first in a series of regional promotions, on its home turf of Ontario. Dubbed INmagine, the design competition will climax with the company handing out prizes of $5,000, $2,000, and $1,000 to the top three ideas that free up space for employees of the future. The award ceremony will take place at Inscape's newly redesigned corporate showroom in Holland Landing on May 27.

"Our hope is that the INmagine design competition will stimulate designers to completely re-imagine how the workplace could evolve in the next few years and we look forward to seeing some totally out-of-the-box designs," says Sharad Mathur, vice president of marketing at Inscape.
