The AIA announces a call for entries for its ninth annual DuPont Benedictus Awards, honoring innovative use of architectural laminated glass in residential and commercial design. Deadline for submissions, which will be judged by Henry N. Cobb, Vassilis Sgoutas, and Odile Decq, is March 1st. The accompanying student competition-conceptualizing a freestanding, multipurpose entertainment retail facility-closes March 8th. Winners will be announced at the 2001 AIA Convention, May 17th to 20th.
