Staff -- Interior Design, 9/17/2003 12:00:00 AM

Entrants are requested to develop one of three concepts relating to the competition's theme, "In The Bathroom," choosing from categories whirlpool or multifunction-shower, faucets or complete bathroom furnishing series (such as toilet, bidet, sink).

5000 Euros, and paid air and hotel will be granted to the designer awarded first prize; three designers will receive honorable mentions (Euro 1000 each).

The jury, including architects, designers and photographers, will award designs deemed innovative in terms of formal / technological aspects as well as their functional ones, linked to the different traditions of bathroom use. The most interesting designs will be presented to companies in corresponding sectors for possible production.

Winning entries and a selection of the works sent in will be shown during the next WC Water Concept bath furnishing salon at Fiera Milano International in Milan, Italy, March 2 - 6, 2004.

Participation is open to applicants from every country in the world, to both professionals and students, free registration required. Applications will be accepted through September 30, 2003. However, there is a maximum enrollment, which if exceeded, may cause registration to end earlier.
