At London Heathrow Airport, Softroom has completed a swank two-phase redesign and expansion of Virgin Atlantic Airways's business-class clubhouse. The 25,000-square-foot lounge features a grand staircase of polished black granite, a reflecting pool, a spa, and dining options, all with chic furnishings including Eero Aarnio's Bubble chairs.

Reform, Rethink

Call it contract with a conscience: Green-minded Reform specializes in office furniture and systems. An interview with presi- dent and design director Nancy Montgomery sheds light on the firm's recent work, such as custom furnishings for the Philadelphia headquarters of Urban Outfitters—a collaboration with architects Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle.
