Lightfair Calls for Speakers

Submissions must be made online.

Mairi Beautyman -- Interior Design, 8/24/2007 12:00:00 AM

Lightfair is seeking speakers for Lightfair 2008. Billed as the world's largest architectural and commercial lighting show and encompassing the Lightfair Institute and the Lightfair Daylighting Institute, the event will be held May 26-30 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. Proposals are due September 14.

Speakers will explore lighting-related topics including applications, software, product updates, design innovations, case studies, know-how, business advice, and lighting fundamentals. Attendees include architects, lighting designers, interior designers, engineers, facility managers, lighting manufacturers, contractors, landscape architects, end-users, students, and lighting enthusiasts.

Preference will be given to lighting industry professionals who can develop and present well-defined, timely, and in-depth courses, say show organizers.

All submissions must be made online. For additional information, contact Keri Arroll at keria@lightfair.com or Elly McCloud at ellym@lightfair.com.

Lightfair is sponsored by the International Association of Lighting Designers and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, and produced and managed by AmericasMart.
