DDC Domus Design Collection DS-51

Thanks to leisure suits and Hawaii Five-0 hair, the 1970's are not oft cited as an era of great design. DeSede's DS-51 guest chair, however, proved a bright spot on the psychedelic landscape. Originally produced in 1971 and reintroduced to the market this spring, this sturdy office lounge chair channels swank, '70s-era minimalism via a polished chrome frame that supports a hand-sewn seat and tufted back.
