The Mettre low table from the Laque de Chine collection instills a hint of Franco-Asian fusion. Fantastic details include a Greek-key apron, hand-painted gold Afrique decoration, caramel French crackle lacquer, and French-polish finish. It's 23 inches wide by 43 inches long by 15 inches high.

Donghia

The casual presence of the Block Island bed could breathe fresh air into tailored urban décor or breeze into place at a beach house. (Mind the sand between the sheets.) The hardwood frame is sheathed in handwoven wicker with an over-scale checkerboard pattern. Available in natural or tobacco finish. Visit site.

Evanson

Handcrafted in the Far East, the Burma side table's exotic sunburst top is made of eco-friendly by-products, such as honeycomb, vine, coconut twig, coconut shell, and corncob. Burma's base is stained solid mahogany. Visit site.

Andre Joyau

With nature as muse, the Lotus credenza celebrates the knots found in reclaimed oak and southern yellow pine, and incorporates actual lotus leaves.

Antoine Proulx

Marc Desplaines's ET-87 bedside table is from his O series, inspired by the cantilevered roofs, balconies, and modern furnishings of Eileen Gray's Cap Martin house. Completely handcrafted, the table is shown in bleached ash with titanium and graphite-finished steel legs, one of 16 wood and four metal finishes. Visit site.

Jiun Ho Collection

According to Jiun Ho, the Rikka oval cocktail table is rooted in both Asian and European traditions. We like its international flavor and flexibility. Formal enough to blend with antiques, the straightforward shape is equally compatible with modern settings. We warmly welcome the truffle finish shown—a refreshing alternative to the ubiquitous ebonizing. Visit site.
