A Show Grows in Brooklyn

edited by Sheila Kim-Jamet -- Interior Design, 4/1/2005 12:00:00 AM

Brooklyn Designs, the annual DUMBO-based show of emerging talent is back in bloom. This year, the jury-selected furniture and accessories firms total 50. And attractions include cooking demonstrations, food-tastings, and panels. The schedule includes discussions such as "An Insider's Guide To Brooklyn Design Retailers," led by designer Chris Kraig, and "The Big Apple Goes Design-Build," by architects Joel Sanders and Adam Kushner, both founders of their namesake firms. The $10 ticket buys admission to the show plus the day's events. May 6-8; 718-243-1414; brooklyndesigns.net.
