Here's this week's roundup of who’s doing what, where in the design community.

John Manchir is vice president, manufacturing-office furniture group, a newly-created position, for office furniture manufacturer Kimball International. Manchir will oversee leadership of all furniture manufacturing operations, including functions such as quality systems and quality assurance, planning and control, program management, materials, and process engineering.

Rob Hill left; Steve Dean, right.Denver, Colorado-based furniture dealer Spaces has two executive-level changes. Rob Hill is now vice president, sales, principal, and Steve Dean is director of business services, principal.

DonFus, southeast regional sales manager of building products manufacturer BHK of America passed away unexpectedly on August 12. For the past four years, Fus was in charge of BHK Drawer and Ceiling product lines.

David JulianDavid Julian is business development manager for Desks, a Chicago Knoll and DIRTT dealership.

Kris Rose joins Dimplex North America, a manufacturer of electric heating products, as vice president - symphony electric fireplace division.
