What's Up, DOC?

-- Interior Design, 2/1/2001 12:00:00 AM

Solutia announced the winners of its 2000 DOC Awards for outstanding interior design during a ceremony held at New York's Rainbow Room in December. Now in its 12th year, the awards program recognizes exceptional commercial projects utilizing carpet made with Solutia Ultron VIP premium nylon fiber. Four design firms received DOC awards along with those manufacturers whose carpet was used in the prize-winning projects. In addition, four carpet mills were cited for achievement in product design. "The carpet aesthetics and performance made possible by Solutia Ultron VIP premium nylon fiber continue to be a major source of inspiration for the design community," said Larry Gillian, director of contract carpet for Solutia. "This year's millennium winners kick off the century with some of the most creative projects in the market today."
