Dr. David SuzukiAward-winning scientist, environmentalist, and broadcaster Dr. David Suzuki is world-renowned for his ability to deliver a powerful call to action. Here’s your chance to view the speech he gave at the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) sustainable building and construction tradeshow Greenbuild 2006 last November in Denver, Colorado, free of charge.

Suzuki took the podium at the USGBC Member Day, a sold out event at the tradeshow.

Born in Vancouver, BC in 1936, Suzuki is founder of the David Suzuki Foundation, an environmental organization dedicated to four program areas—oceans and sustainable fishing, climate change, and clean energy, sustainability, and the Nature Challenge. He is the author of 43 books and host of the science television series, The Nature of Things, broadcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He has earned several awards during his career, including one from the United Nations, the E.W.R. Steacie Memorial Fellowship Award for the "Outstanding Canadian Research Scientist Under the Age of 35," and the Roger Tory Peterson Award from Harvard University.

The video can be viewed online or downloaded onto an iPod.
