30% Recycled Content
OMNOVA is making a difference by diverting both used wallcovering and consumer waste from landfills. Wallcoverings featuring RECORE Recycled Wall Technology have 30% recycled content with a guaranteed minimum of 20% post-consumer waste. In addition, they average 10% pre-consumer content.

Recyclable

Low VOC Emitting
Wallcoverings featuring RECORE are GREENGUARD certified for their low VOC emissions.

Eco-Friendly Packaging
RECORE packaging is from 100% recycled materials including its cores. Package waste is recyclable through traditional community recycling stations.

Safety and Fire Protection
Wallcoverings with RECORE meet or exceed Class A requirements. They carry the NFPA 101 and IBC Class A interior wall and finish rating when tested using ASTM-E84 method on Type X gypsum board and when tested in accordance with NFPA 286.

Eligible for LEED Credits
Wallcoverings featuring RECORE Recycled Wall Technology can be used with the LEED rating system for both new construction (LEED-NC) and commercial interior (LEED-CI) projects. The use of wallcoverings with RECORE can contribute towards up to six LEED points.

Durable with Long Life Cycle
Durable, long-lasting products are part of a sustainability strategy. When wallcoverings with RECORE remain on the wall for an extended time, less energy is used, fewer raw materials are consumed and less waste is generated – reducing both environmental impact and life-cycle costs.

Wallcoverings with RECORE deliver the same level of performance as OMNOVA’s other Type II vinyl wallcoverings - meeting or exceeding the requirements of CCC-W-408A and CFFA-W-101-D:

RECORE wallcoverings require minimal maintenance.They’re stain resistant, washable and scrubbable exceeding the Gardner Scrubbability Test ASTM D 2486. They have been tested to 2,500 cycles with no damage to finish or print.
