“Responsible desire” is the motto of Isaac and Jaime Salm, whose company, Mio, produces ecologically minded furniture and accessories. The brothers’ first venture into mass-market, Mio for Target, is also Target Corporation’s first green collection, part of the Design For All series. At stores and online April 12 to May 10, shoppers can choose from eight Mio outdoor products, all made from recycled, renewable, and/or organic materials. Think plastic watering cans, cotton hammocks, bamboo-and-jute gardening tools, and even composters.
