Best of Year Winner, Bath: Fittings: Hansgrohe, Inc. — Axor Starck ShowerCollection

The Axor Starck ShowerCollection offers a designer-friendly building-block system to create showers from individual, yet combinable, elements. The basis of the collection is the perfection of the square: Simple five-inch²² modules can house thermostat, volume and diverter controls; a handshower or showerhead; even lighting, sound and shelving modules.

Best of Year Merit Awards, Bath: Fittings

Dornbracht — Supernova
The flash of light from an exploding star inspired Supernova’s name and form. Its lines are spare but strong, forming a sharply angular sculpture. The collection of gleaming tub, lavatory, bidet and shower fittings and matching accessories is equally at home in classic baths and space age settings.

Kohler — Flipside handshower
The KOHLER Flipside handshower features innovative Flipstream™ technology—the sprayface simply rotates on its axis, with each of the four sides of the sprayface being dedicated to one of the spray experiences. This fundamental reconfiguration of the sprayface allowed Kohler to create four totally unique experiences on one handshower.

Sherle Wagner Intl. — Architectural Series-Arco Series
The Architectural Series is a product line rooted in the legacy of Sherle Wagner—scaled and redesigned for application in great architectural projects. The Arco series, in particular, is a sculptural marvel of morphing shapes. It evokes an intricate geometric dance between the triangular handles and the faucet’s sinuous curve.
