Huge Show House Exhibition on View in Moscow

The Russian Design Show is organized by the same real estate development firm behind Kips Bay Designer Show House in New York.

Through July 1, visitors to Moscow can explore what is billed as the world's largest show house, the Russian Design Show at EcoEstate Pavlovskaya Slobodaw. Developed by Russian Investment Group, the international real estate development firm behind the Kips Bay Designer Show House in New York and the Midsummer Dream Art House in Southampton, New York, the show house encompasses six homes with participants including Frank Gehry, Tom Dixon, and Nina Campbell, and Swaroski.

EcoEstate Pavlovskaya Sloboda, located about 15 miles from of Novorizhskoe Shosse, is the first green luxury community in Russia. The homes, all made of wood, range from between 4,000 to 6,000 square feet and sit on a 2-acre site surrounded by a forest, a walking park, and grounds manicured with indigenous shrubs and plants by British landscape designer Peter Thompson. A total of 24 architects and interior designers collaborated on the project, which includes the Russian House and the Eco House.

Daily events include designer and developer workshops, and art performances and a special exhibition will feature Gio Ponti's collection from Vembi-Burroughs, Genoa and the Campana Brothers collection. The later comes from the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
