The 23rd annual Build Boston drew record numbers to Boston's Seaport World Trade Center last month. Held November 13-15, the North American building industry convention and tradeshow clocked in over 16,000 visitors.

Build Boston caters to the design and construction industry and encompasses some 350 exhibitors and design exhibits. It is also currently the largest convention and trade show in the Northeast. In addition to exhibitors, attendees are drawn to an extensive roster of special events, workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.

Robert Murray, vice president of economic affairs for McGraw-Hill Construction delivered the keynote address. Symposium topics ranged from women in design and green design to building codes and integrated practice.

"Build Boston offers design and construction industry professionals an unprecedented line-up of professional development opportunities, special events, workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities," says Hubert Murray, president of the Boston Society of Architects (BSA).

The event is hosted by the BSA and ResourcePlus Shows & Events.
