Technology is both the medium and the message in 010101: Art in Technological Times, an exhibition mounted by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in conjunction with the Intel Corporation that features works by 35 artists tackling new ideas, processes, and exhibition practices ushered in by the digital age. Five web-based artworks go live on January 1st at 12:01 a.m., followed by an installation of 24 new media-based projects on view from March 3rd through July 8, 2001.
