Pop, Tech, and Circumstance

Fashion and style trends came and went at this year's Milan furniture fair, now dubbed Cosmit. In between sushi at Nobu Armani (designed by Vladimir Kagan), pasta at Santa Lucia, and shopping sprees at Marni's new location (designed by Future Systems), we spotted Pucci-clad chairs, furniture upholstered in our favorite Manuel Canovas fabric, and transparent egg-shaped seating. Other personal preferences: Hannes Wettstein's Alfa chair for Molteni (www.molteni.it or www.formatnyc.com), Ron Arad's Table That Ate The Chairs for Cassina (www.cassina.com), Marcel Wander's Blo lighting fixture from Flos (www.flos.it), and Christophe Pillet's meditation pod for Edra (www.edra.com).
