Best of Year Winner, Textiles: Contract: Luna Textiles — Optique Collection

The Optique Collection is a trio of eye-catching upholstery fabrics inspired by the American optimism of 1940s and ’50s graphics. Amidst uncertain times, these lively, domestically woven upholsteries were designed by Luna to lift spirits as we aspire to create tomorrow’s classics.

Best of Year Merit Awards, Textiles: Contract

Edelman Leather — Bookbinding
BOOKBINDING leather, reinvented for upholstery. A truly unique process, these ultra quality hides; crushed, and crushed. Special dyed vegetable crust, a shade lighter than the finished color is what brings the grain to a dramatic peak. Then a special glazing powder, which polishes the grain and the dye color together.

Momentum Textiles — X Factor, Matter & Gesture-Reveal Collection
Reveal was created as a MBDC Cradle-to-Cradle® Gold Certified collection that reflected the overlapping themes common to the three very different professional design disciplines. The Reveal Collection is the result of collaboration between furniture designer Mark Goetz, visual communications designer May Liu and the Momentum Textiles Design Studio.
