Ingo Maurer Alizz C. Cooper

Alizz C. Cooper, an adjustable lamp, is sure to coil itself around your rock 'n' roll heart. Made of rubber similar to that of a garden hose, Ingo Maurer's snake-shape ceiling lamp bends in almost any direction or uncoils to 126 inches. The head is actually an aluminum reflector concealing a single halogen bulb. Floor or table versions also offered. 212-965-8817; ingo-maurer.com. circle 405

Lammhults Airflake

The architectural beauty of the open office can be lost if you are constantly forced to endure your neighbor's tale of yet another bad date. Stefan Borselius comes to the rescue with his sound-absorbent Airflake molded felt panels. The four hexagonal patterns, which link at the corners, are 15 inches across and offered in brown in addition to green, red, black, or white. 46-4-722-69-500; lammhults.se. circle 409

Moooi Brave New World

Surfer dudes Marcus Beck and Simon Macro of Fresh West lightened the mood at Zona Tortona with their Brave New World lamp. Its interlocking form was inspired by Asian bamboo scaffolding but constructed from solid oak pieces counterweighted by two iron bars. The height is 70¾ inches. Stua Eclipse

Jon Gasca's Eclipse tables are easy on the eyes and the pocketbook. Sold individually or as a set, all four have shapely tops in beech, maple, bleached oak, walnut, wengé or just painted white—the largest measuring 31½ inches long and the smallest 18½ inches. Barely-there legs, finished in matte chrome, sport felt pads to leave floors unscuffed. 34-94-333-01-88; stua.com. circle 410

Kartell Louis Ghost

Most women shy away from the big 5-0—but not Barbie. The doll diva celebrated a half century in style when this company threw her a party. Even Philippe Starck paid homage to the birthday girl with the release of special-edition adult-size Louis Ghost and kiddie-proportioned Lou Lou Ghost chairs. Both are pink transparent polycarbonate featuring Barbie's eternally youthful visage. 212-367-3701; kartell.it. circle 412

Bisazza Summer Tree

Tord Boontje pixelated natural imagery in 36 colors of glass mosaic tile to surface his Summer Trees cabinet. The sunny pattern camouflages a frame of wood and steel, lacquered inside in Bordeaux Violet. Different patterns and colors characterize the smaller cabinet and the cocktail table that round out his Digital Memories collection. 305-597-4099; bisazza.com. circle 413

Meritalia Colorado

Gaetano Pesce's Colorado sectional pushes free-form seating to new heights with 39-inch-tall backrests that recall the Rocky Mountains. Think of the arms as the foothills and the seats as prairie. Each module can be upholstered in any company fabric or leather or COM. 39-031-743100; meritalia.it. circle 415

Sawaya & Moroni Bunny Girl

Bunny Girl is a real turn-on of a stacking chair. Made of a single sheet of molded plywood, the crisscross seat can be painted in any custom color for orders of 20 or more. The legs are chromed steel in a polished or satin finish. 39-02-8639-5212; sawayamoroni.com. circle 414

Terzani Bond's

A cutout swirl allows incandescent light reflected off a brilliantly gold-leafed interior to spill through Bond's black or white hand-blown glass orb. The pendant fixture and a similar table lamp are available in three sizes apiece. 866-380-5412; terzani.com. circle 416

Cassina Tre Pezzi

Franco Albini and Franca Helg introduced their three-piece Tre Pezzi in 1959 as an update on the bergère. The comfortable proportions, crescent shapes, and tubular-steel base endure. However the latter, originally painted black, can now also be ordered in polished chrome, and the wool fabric, formerly offered only in red, now comes in other bright colors and a selection of neutrals. 800-770-3568; cassinausa.com. circle 417

Cappellini Homage to Mondrian

Paying tribute to abstraction while delivering order on the domestic front, Shiro Kuramata introduces Homage to Mondrian 1 and 2, a pair of lacquered cabinets on castors. The first, with its smaller yellow rectangles, measures 39 inches wide; width for the second, dominated by a red square, is 44 inches. In either case, the height is 45½ inches, and the depth is 15¾ inches. 212-966-0669; cappellini.it. circle 418

Emeco Tuyomyo

Gehry Partners designed the Tuyomyo bench, which takes its name from the Spanish for yours and mine, as a one-off to be auctioned to benefit the Hereditary Disease Foundation, which focuses on Huntington's disease research. The hammer is expected to fall between $250,000 and $350,000. Like Gehry's Superlight chair, introduced by this manufacturer in 2004, 9-foot-wide Tuyomyo is 80 percent recycled aluminum shaped with the help of aircraft-production methods. 800-366-5951; emeco.net. circle 419
