Luxe Mart

edited by Sheila Kim -- Interior Design, 10/1/2003 12:00:00 AM

Chicago's Merchandise Mart has launched its retail environment for kitchens, baths, and building products. The LuxeHome collection of 24 showrooms— Studio Snaidero Chicago, Waterworks, Hastings Tile & Il Bagno Collection, Poggenpohl, Varenna Poliform, and more—is geared to both professionals and members of the public, and the space is the largest of its kind, occupying 90,000 square feet on the ground level of the 24-floor building. LuxeHome also features an 8,000-square-foot interior design resource center, which offers information and products from hundreds of manufacturers and a series of Saturday cooking demonstrations, book signings, and kitchen and bath design lectures. 800-677-6278; kitchenbathcenter.com.
