When the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, North Carolina opens later this month, attendees will notice the redesign and expansion of several showrooms, completed since last April.
In all, 16 showrooms have been revamped. Interactive Health, for example, manufacturer of robotic chairs, has added 800 square feet. The new space will serve as a home theater room to showcase the firm's recliners. Furniture manufacturer Shadow Mountain has grown to nearly 3,000 square feet, adding a dedicated lighting area to its bedroom, dining, occasional, and accent furniture. Other showrooms receiving similar treatment include Bauhaus USA, Habersham, and Legacy.
The International Home Furnishings Market, with more than 12 million square feet of space to explore, will take place October 20-26. The show’s 80,000 attendees represent more than 60 channels of distribution, such as home furnishings dealers, department stores, and catalog companies.
We would love your feedback!
