Jacques Grange, president of his namesake Paris-based design firm, studied at the Lycee Janson de Sailly, the Ecole Gerson, and the Ecole Boulle et Camondo a Paris. In the mid to late '60s, he worked with eminent French decorator Henri Samuel, as well as with Alain Demachy and Didier Aaron, before establishing his own firm in 1970. A few of the notable commissions Mr. Grange has received during the past two decades include the Salle Christian Berard of the Theatre de l'Athenee, the New York showroom for Paloma Picasso Accessories, and numerous exhibition and residential commissions for Yves Saint Laurent.
